Well, you have been charged for AVG Internet Security since you have subscribed for an automatic renewal at the time of the initial purchase. We had sent an email notification 45 days prior to the expiry date.
If you wish to cancel the subscription and get a refund, please let me know.
I bought a virus protection package from AVG and my bank account was debited on 18 June 2016.
Apart from a few Emails from AVG trying to sell me more products nothing happened until 19 June
2018 when £72.99 was taken from my Bank account by AVG without previous explanation nor authorisation from me.
When I phoned AVG I was told that the original agreement authorised them to remove whatever sum they wished when the two years were up. I have responded by telling them that I have no wish renew the package and demanded a refund of £72.99 taken from my bank account without my authority.
The matter has now been referred to my Bank (RBS) because this is a blatant attempt a a scam.
