Remove "Scan Recycle Bin using AVG" from context menu

So this was 2 and a half years ago. When will this unecessary item be removed?

That's pretty short sighted, don't you think? Honestly, who wants to scan the recycle bin? Can you submit a feature request on my behalf, to give the user an option to disable this?  Better yet, how about just removing it completely. Literally, its existence makes no sense.

Hello David.
We would like to inform you that this option was there in older versions too.
You can disable the context menu options by following the steps below:
- Disable AVG Self Protection (Open AVG, click Menu -> Settings -> Troubleshooting -> Uncheck 'Enable AVG Self protection module').
- Copy file C:\ProgramData\Avg\Antivirus\settings.ini to e.g. desktop
- Edit copied settings.ini
– Add "ShellExtensionFileName=-1" line to the [UserInterface] section to disable AVG Scan option.
- Save the file and copy it back to the original location (replace the old file).

If you need anything else, do not hesitate to let us know.

I already read that elsewhere (which is incorrect, by the way – it's %programdata% not programdata)… I don't have the Shredder activated, and I don't want to disable the context menu on anything other than the recycle bin. I just want to remove the "Scan Recycle Bin using AVG"

I verified the request with higher level technical team. The steps given by my colleague is to remove the scan option for all Files/Folders. I'm afraid to inform you, we do not have option to remove the "Scan Recycle bin by AVG" from context menu only for Recycle bin.
