Remove "shred..." from right click context menu

Hi all running windows 7 pro 64 bit and dumped MSE and went with AVG 2015 FREE version. Very happy with its performance after clsoe to 2 months of using it.
Would like to remove the right click context menu for "shredding contents of recylce bin" and googled it  found one that has you remove a key in registry which after backing up first I tried and it dind't work so put that back.
Another that has you run a line from command prompt which supposedly removes the shredder and the avg scan option which I would have no issue with as I would go through AVG program as opposed to the right click shortcut.

Does anyone know how to remove it? searching AVG site only shows me a read only forum for AVG Zen and its info was of no use. If it can't be removed I can live with it BUT its too easy to slip on my laptop trackpad or my desktop mouse and poof the file is gone forever.

Any help in this is greatly appreciated I am comfortable working in registry, etc as I know my way around Windows quite well…

Thanks for the link to the form but I was hoping with all the users here there will be a much simpler way of getting user to user help as is done with all software. I find it to be quicker and not having to repeat the same issue 4 times to get sent to someone else. Based on your guru status I would assume you would know how to accomplish what I want?

EDIT…after retrying the command I noticed the google info said avg 2014 which i had to change to 2015.

regsvr32 /u  “C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\AVG2014\avgse.dll”


Thanks Alan I got it I just had to change the avg 2014 to 2015 in the recomended command from command prompt to unregister the .dll. I should have noticed that right away…

I really think this needs to be a setting within a configuration policy.

Because of the feature's general visibility (all users can easily find it), this clearly represents an internal security concern, as it can be used to hide illicit activity and make an investigation into a disgruntled user way more difficult than it should be. Our users simply must not be able to delete files permanently, and even if we're not talking security, some users will eventually hit the shred option and later regret, and we can't help them.

Why does this feature even exist in an antivirus program to begin with?

This feature needs to get put into the global settings for an administrator to control.
