Been following this as I have the same issue!!!
I received a new computer, uninstalled AVG from my old computer and installed it to the new computer expecting the count to instantly change or at least after 24 hours. As luck would have it the new (refurbed) computer ended up being defective so I uninstalled AVG and returned the new computer. I now need to reinstall on the original computer and will exceed my license count when I get a new one which will be in MUCH less than 30 days. Surely AVG has the capability of overriding the 30 day wait cycle. Frankly, 30 days is too long and inconvenient for people will multiple devices. Please help us with some better suggestions on how this can be resolved.

Please clarify whether you're referring to the device count on AVG My account > My subscriptions.
For this, you have to uninstall the AVG from the respective devices manually and then install it in the desired devices.

You can also change your activation code by contacting our AVG sales team using this link: https://support.avg.com/support_sales_chat?l=en and they will help you so that the new activation code will work only on your desired devices.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
We are sorry to inform you that currently, we do not have an option to check the list of devices connected to your account. Instead of that, we can only check the number of devices(Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS). But our system will scan for active devices once every 30 days, all the inactive devices will be deactivated automatically after 30 days and the correct device count will be updated.
If you reinstall AVG programs on the same device, it will be counted as a new device and 1 more device will be added to the count but it will be corrected automatically after 30 days.

I dont know on which devices they are installed as I can only recall installing AVG on 4 devices and my account showed 8 devices used.
Its unbelievable that I get this SAD answer to uninstall it from a device I dont even know about.
This is really bad that a software company cannot allow the user to identify to which devices, his account is connected to. This was not the same thing a few years ago when we were able to actually do this and delete devices. WHY going backwards? Are we not supposed to be going forward with technology?

I'm not a support member but, yh AVG does not tell you about the devices that r being used with your subscription or activation code. but, Total AV does show you the device names, their IP. Like everything. But I still recommend AVG because it has the largest database in the world and highest rate of malware detection.
