Thanks Alan & Balasubramanian. I have separate licences but on checking I seem to have renewed earlier to 2 seats, so hopefully problem solved.

Gina, Have a look @ this article (http://avgclick.me/AVGlicenses). When you originally purchased PC TuneUp did you buy 2 'seats' [number of computers] for your license or totally separate different licenses?.

I have AVG PC Tune Up on each of two computers.Both are due for renewal  Does it matter which one I renew on each computer or do the registration numbers have to match the computer. Thanks
