Renewal of AVG subscription

I've recently renewed my AVG subscription and want to know if I have to download again or do the regular checks carry on as normal without the need to re-download??

I certainly understand your concern. From your account, I can see that you have AVG Internet Security - Unlimited (1 year subscription), expires on 3/17/2019. I request you to open AVG Internet Security > My AVG > My Subscription and look for the expiry date.
