Renewal reminders from old AVG version

I have downloaded and installed new AVG Ultimate 2015.
It was much impoved over their previous nightmare installation procedures.
Obviously they haven't figured out how to remove their old AVG version when installing new versions.
Old version keeps telling me I have to renew or loose my protection.
HOW DO I REMOVE OLD AVG VERSION WITHOUT TOTAL UNINSTALL AND REINSTALLING NEW?
