Many thanks.  I reset Google and this seems to have worked.  The threat pop-up has stopped appearing…

Since installing AVG Internet Security, I'm getting an alert every time I connect to a web site.  This says "download.weatherblock.com infected with URC.Blacklist".  What does this mean and how do I stop it appearing repeatedly?

As the threat pop-up is from Google Chrome browser, I suggest you to reset your browser and check if you receive the same.
