Report a Suspected Erroneous Detection (False Positive)

Hi, I have been submitted the false positive on last Thursday, but there has no response. Could you tell me what should I do next, thanks.

Hi, this is tony, I'm the software engineer at CyberPower Systems, Inc.(CyberPower UPS Systems, Battery Backup, PDUs, USB Surge Protectors)

There has an issue that we found a waring message on AVG AntiVirus when installing our softwareUser-added image

CyberPower carries on the uninterruptible power supply(UPS) business, savefile.exe is using for logout computer user and save files on there desktop when the utility power is failure,
so we think it's fault positive.

Could you tell me what I have to do? Please let me know if you want anything information.

Yes. We did (last year in Dec by Tony). But with the lastest virus definition file, AVG still regards our software as virus.

May I know the status of this case? Dozens of customer are still waiting for solution.
They are not able to install our UPS management software due to AVG.

Once the files is submitted for analysis it will be analyzed by our developers team and if it is confirmed as false positive it will be added to our virus definitions database.
