Hi there, I had tried a 3 month trial for avg tune up and didn’t end up using it so I had no intention of renewing the subscription. I completely forgot about it and got an email saying I was charged for a subscription. I tried to request a refund, but I’ve ben waiting for a long time and haven’t been connected to any agents. So, I would like to request a refund here. Thank you!

I also tried a trial, received an e-mail that said “Don’t worry, we’ll let you know a week before the trial period ends.”
Never received this reminder.
Next communication was to say AVG had taken €74.99 from my bank.
Trying to get refund, but they funnel you to “Chat” with a human…who never logs into the conversation. Tried a few times in the last few days.
Exact same problem here. It’s a total scam. No one ever turns up to the chat and the number they give you as an alternative is a disconnected number. Impossible to get a refund, but thank goodness I paid via PayPal and I’ve now opened a dispute. Good luck!
Contact the AVG business page on Facebook through Facebook messenger. I got my refund processed a few minutes ago since they actually answer you there, I’m going around the community posts to tell people since I was having the hardest time getting them to reply to me. This worked fairly quickly though
