Hi Peter,

Thanks for your report. I've passed it to the development team. We'll be in touch if necessary.

Hello,

I'm using the free AVG Rescue CD to double-check that my Windows 10 machine was really clean.  I had trouble mounting all the Windows 10 filesystems.  Only one small one came up, about 100M, in the "Scan Volumes" menu at first.

I exited the "arl" menu and mounted the rest of the partitions manually.   Then I started up "arl" again.  Then, I was able to scan them from the menu.  The scan seems to be proceeding very nicely from there, 36% done right  now.  The partitions that wouldn't mount initially were NTFS partitions.  The small VFAT partition mounted just fine.

I'm aware of the possibility that NTFS support might be weak in the Linux kernel used by the rescue CD, so I'll think twice before I let the rescue CD write anything to the NTFS partitions.  The important data is backed up, though, so I might attempt to fix anything it may find.

This is more of a bug report or feature request than a request for support.  I think I have it working.

Hi Peter,

I was just informed that changes are being applied to the upcoming version of Rescue CD. However to make sure even your scenario is covered, could you please send me commands you have used for mounting the drives? It will help devs. with making proper fix.

Thanks!
