Restart after auto upgrade

Please accept our sincere apologies. This isn't the experience we wanted you to have with AVG.
Did you perform any actions in the AVG?
And do you get any error message or it is just a blank frozen screen?

My HP computer would not restart after AVG auto upgrade today 11 July 2020. Tried disconnecting power, shutting down etc but screen frozen. What to do?

Thank you for the detailed explanation.
Can you try pressing the power button for few seconds and check whether your computer shuts down?
If yes, please press the power button again and check whether you are able to log into windows normally.

Have tried your suggestions several times I cannot open windows or any program
