Yes, all updated to the current version. Perhaps a glitch in my registry. I will do some more digging. I don't give up easily!

I've have the same problem only from this morning (no right clieck 'scan with AVG' option) but it's happened on two computers. I'm not aware of any Windows uodates overnight. This is very frustrating. Is there any workaround for this without uninstalling and reinstalling AVG?

After installing AVG Free, my right click context menu "scan with AVG" has disappeared. I have tried everything, but it will not show. I did find an older site of yours where you offered a registry key fix to download, but the link is broken.
I love AVG and use my right click menu to scan items continually. Please help.

Thanks for your help Kishore, unfortunately the repair function did not work. Still no right click context menu "scan with avg". Not sure what else I can do. Very frustrating.
Thanks Balasubramanian, but have already removed using the removal tool, and reinstalled. I'm certain its a glitch somewhere in my registry.
