Hi…my apologies it was not my intention to get an answer faster. I had already received the answer of which was also provided again as a link in the 2nd answer. Please note: I did what was advised as I explained in my 2nd post which resulted in me still not being able to get a solution. Can you please review all of my 2nd post and advise me what I should now do to get help given I cant get it as I only am using AVG Antivirus (free). Please advise.
Hello David,
I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused. I'll help you with your concern. We recommend users to enable SMS shield, if it's disabled on your android phone then you will be receiving pop ups to ignore/enable. Shield is an additional security layer that warns you when you receive an SMS messaging containing a malicious URL. Due to Android system restrictions, a message itself cannot be blocked or modified, so showing an alert is the only way to protect you in this case. Additionally, SMS Shield warns you when you receive an SMS message from a phone number which is a known malware distributor or spammer based on the experience of other users by looking up the sender in our database of known malicious phone numbers. You can follow the steps below to enable the SMS shield : Open AVG Anti-virus -> Tap on the drawer menu at the top left corner -> Settings -> Protection -> SMS shield - Enable this option
Best regards,
Alok.

So what's the point of having a community forum if you can't ask questions and get answers here? Seems pretty useless to me. Anyway, I'm getting the same very cryptic warning message as Toni. Since it seems the question has already been answered, maybe someone would be kind enough to post the answer here and save me (and probably many others) the trouble of logging a duplicate issue with support, and also save your support staff the time and trouble of answering the same question numerous times. Or is that too logical for you to understand?
Toni, Also in future please refrain from carrying out multiple topic postings on the same subject! You won't obtain an answer to your query any faster!.
