Hi Sarath,
I searched a bit and I am basically having this (https://silicophilic.com/avast-says-my-router-is-infected/) issue as described. Also, am I eligible for support? I use the Free version of Avast. I will go ahead and uninstall Avast and try with AVG just once before reaching out to the support.
Hi Newell,
To check about the pop-up, you can get in touch with our Avast support by clicking on the below link and they will be able to help you further.

If you prefer, you can install AVG and check the status. However, you need to uninstall Avast from your PC.
Hi Friends,
I am basically a Avast User. It's a Free edition. And recently I am getting an error popup saying that my router is infected. Should I go ahead and Check it once with AVG? Is it for a real infection or just an adware?
Sure, Newell.
Thank you for your cooperation.
You can always reach out to us, if you need further assistance with AVG.
