We'd like to confirm that this is a legit email sent from AVG.
It is strange that the website returned a 404 error. Please try it in a different web browser or log in to AVG MyAccount (https://subscriptions.avg.com/) manually.
I have received an e-mail allegedly coming from AVG, asking me if I want to retain my AVG account, as I haven't accessed it for a while (because I have had no need to, doh). When I clicked the link to say I did want to retain my account, it landed on the AVG "404" page i.e. the link didn't work. Is this a scam/phishing e-mail? It came from this e-mail address: customer.support@global.avg.com and apparently from The Netherlands, as the AVG Netherlands office address was at the bottom of the e-mail.
