Scan on AVG Internet Security

Scan started, note - Advanced Issues is missing.

Hi Dave,

We are sorry to hear this.

We will help you to sort out the issue.

Please share us the screenshot of the interface while performing the scan .

You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on "Answer" & then click on the "Image" [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

I have AVG Internet Security running on Windows 7. When performing a scan there are usually three sections:  (1) Browser threats  (2) Viruses & other malware and (3) Advanced issues. Today, when performing a scan the Advanced issues section did not appear. Is this a change made by AVG or does this indicate my AVG program is in need of repair?

Hello Santhosh - in response to your email I have clicked on “My AVG” but all I get is a fuzzy screen, with nothing clearly visible. I have made a screen shot of this and will try to post it to you. My AVG screen shot, fuzzy, cannot enter my activation code.
Hi David,
I understand you concern.
Have you tried uninstall and reinstall the AVG Internet Security?
Hi David,

Great to hear that the issue has been fixed.
I highly appreciate your effort and time in resolving this issue.
You are most welcome and we are always here to help you.
Hello Rakshith
Yes, I've uninstalled and then reinstalled my AVG Internet Security.
This seems to have cured the problem. Now, when I perform a scan I have the usual three sections:  (1) Browser threats  (2) Viruses & other malware and (3) Advanced issues.
Thank you and your collegues at AVG Support Community for your guidance in this matter.
Hello Santhosh - I've posted a screenshot as requested, but there were no instructions to follow once this was done. There are other points I would like to mention.
(1) I have performed a Repair and this has not rectified the problem.
(2) Today (Wed 1-Apr-20) I had a program update, I installed this but it has not solved the problem
(3) After doing a scan it has sometimes said "Last virus scan: 2 days ago"  whereas it should have said something like 1 minute ago. After the first scan today it said "Last virus scan: 20 hours ago"  whereas it should have said 1 minute ago.
(4) Today, the scan for Browser Treats happened extremely quickly, it took only 9 seconds. I’ve never known it to happen that fast - seems to me like it skipped big sections of code that it should have checked.
(5) I have made a video of the whole scan. It is an MP4, 2.49 MB and 1minute 10 seconds long. Yes, a whole scan in 1min 10 sec, again, seems to me like it skipped big sections of code to finish so quickly.
(6) I can send you this video file, I would need your email address.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
