After running my first scan on a new phone (Moto G8 Power Lite running Android v10) the AVG Anti Virus app reported that the settings app contains malware and should be disabled (which cannot be done). Other products do not report the same issue (Bitdefender, Kaspersky nor Malwarebytes) - would this just be AVG reporting a false positive?
The full message reported is "Malware detected: Settings contains malware that could harm your device. It is installed in the system partition and cannot be uninstalled. instead you must deactivate the app from system settings"
Any advice on that would be appreciated.
