For a month now, whenever I open AVG it says scans were run a"a few seconds ago". I also don't see anywhere to get logs, as I used to have in previous AVG programs, so I don't even know if it's running. Not having scans running is a big deal. I've used AVG since the dinosaurs roamed the earth and it's always been trustworthy.
The support threads I checks seem to say that either programmers are working on the problem (with no further reports of the problem being solved or they blame Microsoft and suggest we contact them. Have you ever tried to contact Microsoft? This is not an answer. I could use a few answers and please don't robot answer me -answer these questions by number:
Are you really aware of this problem?
Are programmers really working on it?
Have they found a solution?
Is AVG actually running scans?
How would I know? Where are my log files so I can see?
What do I do right now?
And before everyone jumps on me that there are already threads on this, note that I have tried every which way from Sunday to search, click to or otherwise post in those very threads and it ain't working.
