I recently re-installed AVG and now get a VERY annoying "Scanning Emails" popup about 100 times a day.
I've looked at community answers and see a similar problem from 2012 but the option described to stop it happening isn't there in my version.
I've gone to Advance Settings\Email Scanner but there's no option to disable it.

I can't believe any business would write software which won't allow this to be disabled, that would be crazy, so I'm hoping the way to achieve it just eludes me at the moment. Otherwise I will have to use another company's product which would be a shame after so many years with AVG.
