Hello Tony,
If I were you, I would feel the same. We would like to understand more about the situation. Do you mean scheduled scan doesn't change the status of Last computer scan?
Yes, it is the usual behavior in our latest version. Last Computer Scan option will change when you perform manual scan by clicking on Scan Computer.
I'm getting tired of AVG Free not recognising when a scheduled scan has been carried out. Apparently it does register a manual scan. I'm also tired of AVG thanking me for my patience because the problem will be solved in the next update - but it never is. So why should I "upgrade" when I have mediocre confidence in AVG's willingness to stand by its'word? It's not rocket science and I appreciate the fact that the protection is free. However, I'm ready to upgrade but at the moment not to AVG. Is anybody else equally frustrated?
Tony, it is possible to see the schedule scan reports, if you set it up from the scan settings.
Open AVG Antivirus interface.
Click on "gear" icon near " scan computer button.
In scan settings window, click on "gear" of "schedule scan" and select "Report File" option.
Enter a name for the folder and check the boxes for the scan.
Once the schedule scan is completed, you can check the reports in C:\Program Data\AVG\Antivirus\Reports folder.
Feel free to contact us if you need further help.
