Schedule scan does not run @ scheduled time

Hello Bala.
After doing all of the above, and scheduling the initial scan I set up to run @ 21:10 on 09/22  it did run as scheduled. however when I changed the schedule for my scan to run at 18:00(daily) after the inital scan at 21:10, it did not start as scheduled(18:00) on 09/23 or today(09/24). Yesterday I had to manually start my schedule scan because it did not run when it was suppose to(18:00). So after uninstalling and reinstalling AVG Antivirus Free, The Scan I setup to run at 18:00  is still NOT STARTING when its suppose to !!! Getting very frustrated at this point. Did not have this problem prior to version 17. Any suggestions ??? I shoiuldnt have to MANULLY start a scan when it is scheduled but not starting when its suppose to.

Is your PC turned on and not put to sleep mode at the time of scheduled scan?
If it is turned on and if scheduled scan is not happening please try reinstalling AVG Antivirus free using AVG removal tool as mentioned in this article: https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product .
NOTE: If no AVG program found for removal click on "Run Anyway" to proceed with the removal.

Please setup the scheduled scan and inform the status.

Since upgraded to current AVG Free version(Windows), schedule scan doesnt run as scheduled. Ran Repair several times but didnt correct issue. I have to manually request a schedule scan. Why is this happening and how do I correct it.

I appreciate your efforts in trying to fix the issue. Thank you for your prompt response.
Since I have already manually started a scan for today,
I will wait until tomorrow to see if scan starts as scheduled.
Then I will run the Sysinfo tool and send the diagnostic results per email instructions.
