as topic says, the scheduled scan for AVG Free, Windows 10 platform, locked up on rootkit scans each time. I had to use the AVG Remover to get it uninstalled…could not end the AVG processes once the scan locked. Any ideas??
as i stated, i did use the remover tool to remove AVG…it would not uninstall via Programs and Features in Control panel…i reinstalled and it still hung on the step indicated in the attached screen shot, so i ran the remover tool again to get rid of it. Used it for years but with Windows , no luck…i've gone with Avast!!
