I'm sorry to hear about this. In this case, I request you to repair AVG Protection (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG), reboot your computer once. After reboot, please click on the link (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-start-or-plan-a-computer-scan) to see AVG 2017 schedule scan preferences. Please be informed that, AVG 2017 schedule scan will only run when your computer is power up at the time of schedule.

My AVG will not perform scheduled scans applied in advanced settings all was ok up until the 4th of July.
