Hi Steve,

We're glad to look into this & help you. 
Please let us know the AVG programs (names) that are installed on your computer& the operating system of the device in which you experience this issue. Also, share us the screenshot of the page that shows few tasks scheduled have been disabled (if possible).

I have several nightly tasks that are continuously being disabled. Searching for solutions indicated that it may be an issue with AVG.  Any tips on how to correct the problem?  Thanks

We regret the trouble caused. We'll help you out.
Could you please disable AVG Internet Security using the below steps and check the issue?

  • Kindly right-click the AVG icon in the notification area of your Windows taskbar, then in the menu that appears, click the green slider next to Protection is ON.
  • Click OK, stop to confirm that you want to disable all AVG protection.
  • The slider turns red (OFF), and all AVG components are disabled. AVG protection will re-enable automatically the next time you reboot your PC.
