Scheduling scan shutdown system fails

I am sorry to know that after the scheduled scan the PC will not shut down. Please repair AVG Internet security http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG from the control panel and then check the status.

Do also let me know the version of AVG program.

I am having the same problom on 2 differnt computers Both are the latest update free  17.9.3040
I just tried the repair and it still does not shut down.

Hi Brian,

I'm sorry to hear that the issue still persists, I suggest you reinstall your AVG Program by following the steps provided in this article How to troubleshoot issues after upgrade to the latest AVG antivirus product
and check if that resolves the issue.

Note: Please run the AVG Clear first and then the AVG Remover

I always love spending an hour uninstalling and reinstalling then still not working correctly.
