I cleared history and cache and turned off working in the background when not opened. I had no problems with this. However, the files pop up again when I run CCleaner.
I have used AVG for many years, but I have not been happy the past couple of years. I am tired of being hustled to buy more products without any explanation of what they do and why I should use them. And the Secure Browser has problems which have not been fixed, namely not allowing me to enter a search. It automatically enters something of its own choosing. I am beginning to think AVG has gotten too big for its britches and am thinking of looking for an alternative. Above all, I am not happy with their service. But they have no problem auto-billing me.

Why does this browser always have over 3000 files in cache? No matter what I do to clear it, it still has them.
