Secure Browser stops accessing the internet after awhile

I use AVG Secure Browser with the VPN turned on. I also use other browsers and programs that access the internet.

After some time of using the Secure Browser, it will lose connectivity to the internet. I still can access the internet using other browsers and programs. I turn off the VPN and turn it back on, sometimes changing to a different hub. This usually does not correct the situation. I turn off my wi-fi and turn it back on. This will sometimes correct the situation. If this doesn’t work, I reboot my Windows 10 PC.

The connectivity issue occurs on an average of once a day, sometimes right away in the morning, sometimes later in the day.

Rebooting is a real PITA though.

What would cause just the Secure Browser to lose connection to the internet and how can I fix the situation?
