Secure VPN doesn't have a valid IP configuration

Isabel,

I had the same problem and after contacting Microsoft and their direction of download Windows 10 onto USB drive and reinstall (Oh by the way this can take several hours} and contact AVG and they advised unistall AVG if it still would not connect not their problem!!!
I kept searching and this was resolution:
1. Type settings into search bar lower left side of screen and open
2. Select VPN
3. Select change adapter options
4. Right click on Secure VPN
5. Click on Disable

Voila internet connected automatically. I need to add that I RARELY use my laptop in public so I am not sure how to really use VPN. If you use it regularly you may need to search for a way to configure the IPN addrtess it asks for.

I'm unable to connect to the internet with wifi. I get this message from Windows Network Diagnostics - "Secure VPN doesn't have a valid IP configuration"

You are welcome.
