Security alerts and subscription offers

Hi all.
I have AVG Anti Track, AVG Secure VPN, AVG Anti Virus etc.
However, I frequently receive alerts from AVG telling me that there are (today) 24 trackings on my laptop, urging me to subscribe to AVG Anti Track to avoid my internet activity to be tracked.
So:
1) Either this AVG selling point is untrue and there are actually no trackings on my laptop OR
2) Anti Track does not work 
Have any of you experienced the same?
