Please share the screenshot http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot of the error message you receive when you try to install AVG.
Do you have any other security software installed on your computer?
Please let me know the version of Windows Operating System installed on your computer.

i purchased norton security a little over a month ago from walmart and tried loading it but couldn't and they gave me a number to call for technical surport. i spoke to a person identified as Kevin Anderson i asked him where is he located and he said the philippines and he had a philippine acsent anyway he said he would have to take over my computor and see what the issue was. he said that he could fix it but it would cost $199.99 i said ok> next i called norton about this and they said i was scammed. I called kevin anderson back and told him i was scammed and to his credit he refunded my $199.99 fee. took the norton software back to walmart and told all this crap and that i want a refund and they said i opened the box therefor they would not refund me. they then told me to get my refund from norton so i contacted norton and they said i would have to send in a written form requesting for a refund and if approved i would receive a refund in about one month. i've gotten nothing, nothing. so i;m still without security so i bought foolishly from walmart again avg and i again couldn't load it so here we go again. avg person i dealt with was elma.elma's voice which triggered my question where are you located at and low and behold she said… the philippines. i then told all my norton issues including the scam. she said she was sorry to hear that poroceeded to say i need to gain control over your computer to load avg on it. then she did what she did and told me the same story we need to charge a fee of $79.00 or for life (same deal as kevin anderson's also for life) fee of $199.99. elam then indicated after my bowing my top she couldn't download this new avg software and told me in order to get a refund to contact you!!! so again no software nothing but loss of money. i want my money back from avg. walmart won't refund because i opened the damn box.
