Seller of my laptop is sharing AVG subscription without my knowlege?

Hello Sandy,

If you see sharing subscription message in AVG program, it confirms that the subscription used on multiple devices. You do not need to worry about security. This will not share any of your data or files.

If you do not want to utilize your seller subscription, you can just logout his AVG Account from AVG program. If you have any clarification, please do let us know.

Apparently the person I bought my laptop from (5 months ago) is sharing all his AVG Tools with me, but I did not have any knowledge of this until my scheduled security scan finished today.  I noticed a box indicating that VPN was purchased but not installed. I don't remember purchasing the VPN but though maybe I had as I was considering it, and that I just had forgotten I purchased it.  So I proceeded to install it.  After installing I signed in to my AVG account from the popup screen from which I installed the VPN, and seen a list showing that this person is sharing his VPN, TuneUp, & AntiTrack.  We never had never had a discussion about sharing AVG tools.  I've always installed the free AVG and that's it.  I've regularly used these except the VPN as I though they were part of the Free AVG.
When I sign in from a fresh browser it doesn't show this?  So am I signed into HIS shared AVG account?
Is this a security issue?  Does he have access to my Data, personal info or pics?  I'm kind of creeped out by this.
