I shut my computer off for the night and this morning I can not open any of my files. I suspect it has to do with allowing AVG to Resolve Sensitive Files. How can I fix this?

I apologize for the trouble caused.
Please open AVG Internet Security and go to Menu ▸ Settings. Select General ▸ Blocked & Allowed apps in the left panel.
Please remove it from blocked apps if you find it there.
Restart your PC and check if everything works fine.

Further to your question. The message I get when I try to open a file is; "Word can not open the document: user does not have access priveleges"

Yes, I got your message. However, It took a number of tries before I could figure out how to reply.
FYI, I can not open any of my Word or Excel files. I know I allowed AVG to resolve my sensitive files on my Laptop but that was some time ago.
More background info.; I also allowed AVG to resolve the sensitive files on our PC computer at about the same time. However I can open these files.
The 2 computers are not networked together so one can not access the other.
