Hello Annie,

I understand your concern. Please do not worry, if AVG detects a file or email as harmful, they will be moved to quarantine. If it is not listed there, it means that this emails are removed from your computer. So you do not have to worry if it is not listed in quarantine folder.

Im getting daily emails from a Wang Li that are flagged up by AVG as a threat and I am told they are being sent to quarantine. However when i look in Quarantine there is nothing there at all - should i be worried?  Two days ago Im sure this same email threat turned my AVG off and prevented email access for around 6 hours until i contacted AVG support?

Is it recommended to delete all threatening files from the junk folder or are they harmless once they are there?

ok thank you - is it best if i remove it from my junk folder or does it make no difference?
