Servers, jurisdiction, keep logs, streaming

Hello Abelle,

My name is Jovana and I'm with AVG senior support. Please accept my apologies for the delay.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your interest in our VPN software. I'll do my best to address each one.

To begin, we offer our VPN services available across around 34 countries.
We have around 60 different locations across the world, however, both of these counts are often changed, as we try to improve our services on a daily basis.

Specific for the US, we have 16 locations available (Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Honolulu, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Phoneix, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC, Gotham City - streaming server) and for the UK we have 3 (Glasgow, London, Wonderland - streaming server).

Regarding your question about the total number of IPs we use, sadly, we cannot chare the exact number, but there should be approximately around 10k of different IP addresses in total.

For the country of jurisdiction, since AVG is a Czech company, it is following Czech Republic's laws.

Our VPN does collect certain logs, but they are deleted after 35 days. You can see which information is collected and why, in detail, at the following page: https://www.avg.com/en-ww/vpn-policy

Lastly, regarding your question about the streaming platforms, in general, we offer 6 different streaming servers:

USA:
Gotham City - dedicated for streaming;
Miami - for streaming and torrenting;
New York - for streaming and torrenting;
Seattle -  for streaming and torrenting;

UK:
Wonderland dedicated for streaming;

Germany:
Frankfurt  - for streaming and torrenting;

While connected to these locations you should be able to enjoy a variety of streaming services such as Netflix,  HBO GO, BBC, Disney Plus, and others.

However, we don't have a specific list of supported streaming platforms, as many of them are often blocking our IP address, and we can't guarantee it will ways work, as it is out of control. Still, even when streaming services block our VPN, our team is constantly trying to overcome these issues, and allow our users to enjoy their favorite streaming platforms at all times.

I hope I was able to clarify your concerns. If you need any further help, feel free to write back.

I wish you all the best!

Jovana

Hi, my name is Abelle) I searched your site as much as I could but still didn't find some information.
Here are the questions I want to clarify:
In how many countries does your VPN have servers?
How many servers globally do you have in the world? I need a number, not a list)
How many servers does your VPN have in the US? How many are in the UK?
How many IP addresses does your VPN have?
In which country is your jurisdiction? (I mean the country, the laws of which your vpn is subject, according to the laws of which you store data.)
Does your VPN keep logs?
What streaming platforms can I access if I use your vpn? (for e.g. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, ESPN+, Crackle (Sony), Sling TV, Fubo TV,  HBO (Now, Max), Hulu, Disney+.) Have you tested all these streaming platforms to know for sure that your vpn will unblock them? Also, do you have any special servers for streaming platforms? Or can I use any server to watch Netflix, for example?
Sorry for so many questions, I'm just trying to figure it out. Thanks!
