Set an exception on AVG mobile app

I have NORD VPN on my PC and cell phones. Suddenly I couldn't connect to NORD on one of the phones. They've run through a number of fixes, with no success. NOW they are telling me I need to set an exception in AVG. I know what and exception is and how to do it on my PC. However, I can't see how to do so on the mobile app.(i.e. There's no "menu in upper right").  Can anyone tell me how to do this on my phone?
