Setting servers for scanning and sending encrypted messages

Hello William,

When you try to setup the AVG email scanner and when you trying to add a new server the name can be anything, you can enter any name.
If you need any help in additional settings with the email scanner please get our additional support for which we have sent you the email instructions to get their support.
Please check for the email on spam or junk folders if it is not present in the inbox.

I am having problems identifying what info to enter in this form. I am a retired graphic designer in usiness before Apple Mac arrived so I am not too technically minded .

Instructions

In some special cases, it is necessary to create the incoming and/or outgoing mail servers in the AVG E-mail Protection manually. A typical example is when you are using secure communication (SSL).

To configure the AVG Email Protection, follow these steps:

I am at
>Email Scanner > Servers > Add new server > > IMAP and I am asked for a name. What name do I enter?
Then
For my Server settings which I noted on recently setting up:
New Email Account
Bill Watters
Email: billwatters@ntlworld.com
<...my password..>
IMAP
Incoming: IMAP, imap.ntlworld.com (no encryption)
Outgoing: SMTP, smtp.ntlworld.com, STARTTLS
User: billwatters

So I enter billwatters and I get fields marked 'Type of login'? I click automatic. Then I am asked for additional settings and that's where I get lost.
Early Help & Assistance appreciated.
