Shock, horror, lies

Hi Elizabeth,

I see that you have already created a post for the same concern. We request you to keep up the conversation in a single post for faster communication.

I see that our higher level team has emailed you informing that the issue is not caused by AVG TuneUp and since it is not from our scope of support, they have requested you to contact Microsoft for further assistance.

If you need any concerns, I request you to reply to the email.
So, one week after damaging my computer after the first and only scan of a newly installed TUNEUP AVG have claimed that they have reviewed throngs and the fault had nothing to do with them, despite the fact that the fault occurred IMMEDIATELY after the first scan. Even better, AVG "experts" have determined that the fault had existed since 2918/ 19, despite the computer having worked PERFECTLY until their programme was installed and run. Amazing. I predicted they'd deny it data ago on these very boards. Despite the fact that I have photographic evidence of the on-screen discussion with their technician ADMITTING their programme was the cause. TWICE!!!

Regrettably for them not only do I have that evidence, but I also have an independent expert opinion identifying the exact fault AND the point at which AVG Tuneup deleted essential files that caused it. That report, the evidence and a bill is currently accompanying a solicitors letter offering them the opportunity to put this right before we initiate legal action.

Long standing client of AVG. Now suing  them. Will never buy from them again. Avoid like the plague. They care nothing about their customers and they'll go to any lengths to deny liability from damage they cause. If you value your hardware, don't tough them with a barge pole.

This isn't the experience we want you to have, Elizabeth. In order to keep the conversation simple & fasten the process, our colleage has suggested you to reply to the email from our senior team for further clarification.
Reason being, they've analyzed the logs & they'll be able to address your query. Thank you for your understanding in advance!
You did read this,  didn't you? I have proof and expert opinion that AVG TuneUp caused the problem.  So I'm sure that you'd like me continue to conversation off public sites where people can see what kind of company AVG is; and that you'd like me to stick to one thread so that it can be buried.  Not going to happen.
