2. Remove all AVG traces, which includes AVG Zen, Internet Security and PC TuneUp using the remover tool from the same link provided above.
3. Restart your PC and try to continue with the installation and check if it resolves the issue.

I have been using PC TuneUp paid for version for some time now but, over the last few days, when I run 'Show background & startup programs' the application seems to be searching for a very long i#time with no results.  I have closed the program and tried an install but get the error message 0xe001f94e.  I have not tried to uninstall my existing program as I may be left with no program at all or may not be able to find my current license key.   My program says it is framework version 1.142.2.49865 and version 16.63.2.50050  Any advice would be appreciated
