Hello Tomas,

Could you mention the number of seconds that it takes for our AVG Secure browser to be opened on your computer?
As you did earlier, get into settings of AVG secure browser and under "Advanced", scroll down to "Performance Manager".
Check whether "Optimize RAM and CPU" is enabled. If not, try enabling it and check whether there is any improvement in the startup of the browser.

I tried to find an answer for this but without success. If it has been already discussed please direct me there.

My problems is that after installing AVG Ultimate and switching my default browser from Chrome to AVG Secure Browser, AVG SecBrowser starts much more slower than Chrome. If I leave at least one browser window open it is OK but if I close AVG SecBrowser completely the new start takes again a good time.

I tried to find an AVG browser setting in Settings and also in Flags which will keep AVG browser in memory and enable fast re-open but without success.

Is there any solution for speeding up the first launch of AVG Secure browser?

Tomas, I'd request to uninstall AVG Secure Browser and reinstall it to get the latest version. Monitor the situation with newer version and let us know if the issue persists.

Hi Bala,

AVG Secure Browser takes about 12s to show my home page (Google search), Chrome takes about 4s.

Unfortunately, I could not find "Performance Manager" in my AVG SecBrowser advanced settings either on Flags page. My browser version is "75.0.817.82.(Official Builds) (32-bit)". I have found that the new AVAST Secure Browser (ver. 75.1.1528.101) has the feature of "Performance Manager". Shall I install it instead of AVG Secure Browser or shall I wait until AVG SecBrowser automatically updates?
