In January 2026 was my liscence renewed. Since then I have extremely slow internet connection. Google Chrome is slowly opening, some websites face difficultues, download is immense slow even though I have 1000mb/s glassfaser internet connection.
I received hundreds of updates, info, add ons from AVG and It pops up every time I turn on the Lap Top.
I check the Task Manager and I see that the main processes and overload is from AVG. It is heavily occupying most of the processes. The question is - is this an antivirus program that needs to protect me while working on other main things or it should overload the work so I can not work properly on other things.
- Extremely slow internet connection. Perhaps APN I dont know Im not an expert. Can someone advise/help how to take out those firewalls, protections and retain my fast internet connection?
- Overloading processes and the processor. Can somewone advise/help how to bring the AVG to minimal processes and let space for other programs to work. How to take out the extreme load that it brings to the processor since the start and during all the time while lap top is on.
