Ensure that the AVG program has the latest patches applied to it.
Open AVG program - click on refresh icon beside virus definitions, at bottom left corner - Restart computer after successful update & check.

Hi Delli,
I followed your instructions for the repairing of the AVG VPN app and I did the restart. It worked the first time, but any subsequent request smart run did not.
I did the repair on AVG internet security as well 2 days ago.
