Software Analyzer using high Memory

Hello Sylvain,

We are sorry to know this.
We will certainly check and help you.
If the AVG occupies most of the CPU usage due to technical issue, a simple reinstallation would have fixed.
But not in this case.
Do you have any other security application installed in your PC other than AVG?
Also we request you to send us the screenshot of task manager showing high usage of memory consumed by AVG in order to understand better and resolve it.

Thank you.

This week AVG Software Analyzer starting using a lot of Memory - almost 2000mb

  • Shut Down, restarted, same issue.
  • Uninstall, reinstall - although lower (900mb), still high.
  • Disabled Behaviour Shield - now not using any CPU, however still using 900mb of Memory
  • Did not install any new software
  • Using W10 latest version
So what's next?

I have added the exception, so I will seee if any change, however even after stopping SugarSync, the ASA still takes 1500MB of memory, so it seems to be stuck there.  Is there a way to 'kill' it and have it restarted without having the restart the computer?

No other security application.  And here is the screenshot.  One thing I have noticed is that it seems that when my SugarSync in on, this is when AVG Software Analyzer goes through the roof, which is not happening on my other laptop.  Isn't there a way to designate this software as 'safe' and not have the ASA run when it is opened?
