I am only subscribed to the free avg antivirus product. In task manager avg software analyzer shows up as running. How to disable this product?

To disable AVG Software Analyzer, open the task manager and right click on AVG service then choose to disable it.

You can also click the up-arrow in your system tray. The system tray is the area of your taskbar that contains the clock and sound icon. Clicking the arrow displays all hidden icons.
Right click the AVG icon. It's the yellow, blue, green, and red square icon in the system tray. This will show you the disable option.

I do not want to disable antivirus free. I want to disable software analyzer. When i go through the steps in your support suggestion, software analyzer is not listed anywhere.
