Initially, please clarify whether there was any recent windows update that took place on your computer & since, when you're experiencing this issue.
Meanwhile, please try repairing AVG program once to check if it helps.
Hi, I've noticed that I can't open the windows 10 start menu after logging on the pc. In order to reopen it I have to run the following command "sfc/scannow" and then restart the pc. Alternatively I have to disable "avg internet security" and then restart the pc. After restarting the pc, with AVG disabled, I can open the start menu; then I reactivate AVG internet security and the start menu works correctly. I think the problem is in the initial phase of starting the pc and there is some AVG service blocking the Windows Start menu. Can someone please give me information on how to solve this problem? (AVG Internet Security 21.8.3202 (build 21.8.6586.695)) Thanks
