Still getting message my AVG is running out although I bought the new subscription

I paid $69.95 for a new AVG subscription.  Downloaded and installed the new software.  Received a message that the new AVG is installed.  
However, I continue to get the message that my AVG will end, this time in TWO days.  Will I then not be protected? 
If so, how in the heck do I get AVG to acknowledge I have already re-subscribed?
