We're glad to look into this & help you.
As we're uncertain about the pop ups that you receive, would you be so kind to share us the screenshot of it after reinstalling the free version?

After I had used the Win 10 "uninstall app" method of uninstall, I still have a number of weird pop ups. The version  I am not sure - I had installed it Jan 2020 and uninstalled it later in the month. Free version.

It isn't recommended to use multiple protection program on the same computer, Betsy. They'll conflict with each other & none will work effectively. 
Initially, we'd like to analyze the pop ups that you receive. Would you be so kind to share us the screenshots ot it?
