We apologize for the delay in response. We would like to inform you that the initial scan after installing AVG will always takes long time to finish. Please run a scan again and let us know if there is a difference. It could also be your RAM the cause for scan running slowly. Please run a MemTest to check your RAM. Thank you.
Aravind, you have no idea how you personally try my patience, AVG in general try my patience and this digital dog mess whic you laughingly refer to as the CURRENT version of AVG Free is absolutely useless in comparison to the version of which you robbed me when you hijacked my PC.
Below is a screenshot of the first manualy insigated full PC Scan with the perameters set to "FAST" ie. using all resources available!
Yuo will notice that it has scanned a total of 276050 Objects, and even though it was using almost the entire processing power of my PC, it took two minutes short of two hours to complete the task!
Utterly abysmal, the previous version which you forcibly removed from my machine agaist my will has scanned more objects in half of this time without consuming all resources to achieve it.
Your hard faced and impudent email asking:-
"Did you find your recent visit to our AVG Support Community helpful?"
Merely served to inflame my annoyance further.
Is the above screen shot all we can expect from this product now?

Please be informed that AVG Zen is the advance version of AVG product with us. AVG Zen has both AVG Protection and AVG Performance built in it. In AVG Zen we have trial and paid version available with us right now. You might have installed the trial version of AVG Zen and if it expires you need to purchase the paid one. That is the reason our higher level technician have removed it from your pc and then install AVG Antivirus Free 2016 version in your pc. Please be informed that AVG Antivirus comes under AVG Legacy product. Now you have the free version installed in your pc.

Avinash, as usual with AVG resonses, you have that happy knack of finding the wrong end of any sticks with which you are poked and grasping it in a death like grip.
You might notice from my post that I said :-

ie not the automatic initial scan which is performed immediately after installation
If you were an experienced troubleshooter, that fact would have been obvious merely from the fact that I also mentioned having set the scan perameters to "Fast".
As for the straws for which you grasped when casting doubt on the inegrity of my installed RAM: Might I remind you of yet another part of my previous post:-

It might be an idea if you guys actually READ and DIGESTED the posts we tortured souls painstakingly type out BEFORE firing off your defensive replies.

Had the same problem in logging in with AVG Zen. bought AVG Ultimate last sept 2015 but up to now, my software has not yet been activated. try to contact the technical support and they will only answer you "SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE" but solution has been found. they said that my case has been elevated to a high priority level but up to this moment the issue has noyet been resolved. imagine 5 months of waiting but concrete problem and solution has been found. WHAT KIND OF TECHNICIANS DO THEY HAVE !!! OR THEY ARE JUST IGNORING YOUR FOLLOW- UPS UNTIL YOU REACH THE POINT OF BEING FED-UP AND SURRENDERING THE CASE!!!
HiAravind, first of all, you ignored my second and third queries.
Why didI see a fleeting glimpse of a "DOS" window on boot up yesterday , that was the first time I had booted the PC up since your technicians had installed the software.
After I viewed the "GUI", my attempt to close it resulted in the error message of which I posted a screen shot, …Why did this happen?
Later yesterday evening, I found that on one web site at least, some buttons and links nolonger work, and also, pictures which previously displayed now only show a placeholder.
I have altered nothing in my FireFox browser settings which would cause this, and can only presume that it is due to AVG.
NOW WE COME TO THE MORE IMPORTANT ISSUE OF ZEN.
Earlier this yearI purchased a Medion Erazer laptop and sought advice here upon the installation of the "AVG FREE" I recall that Alan Binch gave me a link to the product.
You are now telling me that this was a Trial???
That was the last thing I wanted and I am extremely annoyed to have that on my machine if this is the case.
THE FORCED UPGRADE WHICH WAS INSTALLED (OR RATHER COCKED UP) ON MY MACHINE, GAVE ME NO CHOICE WHAT SO EVER AS TO THE PRODUCT IT WAS ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. YOU NOW TELL ME, WAS ALSO THE ZEN TRIAL!
YOUR ATTEMPT TO LAY THIS AT MY DOOR AS "ANOTHER USER ERROR" IS MOST VEHEMENTLY REJECTED.
IT SEEMS THAT YOUR POLICY IS TO PUSH THESE TRIALS BY FAIR MEANS OR FOUL, AND IT DOES YOUR NAME NO FAVOURS.
IF YOU CANNOT TRUST YOUR ANTIVIRUS PROTECTION PROVIDERS, YOU SURELY NEED TO ASK YOURSELF "IS THERE ANY REASON TO CONTINUE WITH THEIR PRODUCTS??"
