Hello Marilyn,

Have you installed AVG Internet Security or AVG Antivirus free on your PC? If yes, you can disable the popup messages from AVG > Menu > Settings > General > Privacy > Uncheck "Show popups for other AVG products" > restart your computer and check the status.

If you still receive any popup, please provide the screenshot [http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot] of it to check and assist further.

I want AVG to stop POP UP advertising and trying to get me to buy AVG - I bought it once and now can not get rid of the pop ups…I am happy with the provider I am using…go away…thank you !!!
