Stopped working since I renewed my subscription

After being reminded many times that my subscription was expiring soon (14th October 2022) I renewed my AVG Ultimate (Multi-Device) subscription this week!
Since renewing on 10th October 2022 I've had nothing but trouble with AVG VPN on my mobile telephone. (Samsung Galaxy Android.) Everything else seems to be working fine!
It will just not connect. It just keeps on coming up connecting, connected, not connected.
So, I successfully downloaded it again and it still comes up with the same messages as above.
There is nothing wrong with my internet, nothing wrong with my mobile connection as everything else seems to be  working perfectly.
Can you help please?
